Campton Solid Waste District Information

The Campton Township Solid Waste District serves almost all of Campton Township, including all of unincorporated Elburn as well as parts of unincorporated St. Charles, LaFox, and Maple Park and the Village of Campton Hills except those Village residents whose addresses are in Plato Township. The Incorporated Village of Elburn negotiates a separate contract agreement for their residents, who are still in Campton Township but are not part of our district.

Our current contract for residential trash, recycling and yard waste pickup is with Waste Management, Inc. If you are uncertain about your coverage, consult your Waste Management bill to see which jurisdiction you are in.

The Solid Waste Committee meets at the Campton Township Community Center, on the 3rd Monday of each month. Topics include various environment-related issues pertaining to the Township. Members of the public are always welcome to attend. Please consult our calendar for upcoming meeting dates and times.

The Campton Township Community Center is located at 5N082 LaFox Road, St. Charles, IL 60175.

The Campton Township Town Hall staff has moved to its temporary home on the second floor of the Village of Lily Lake building, 43W870 Empire Rd. St. Charles IL 60175 while foundation work on the old Town Hall is in progress. They can be reached at 630-377-5705.

The CTSWDD Board's most important concern is always for the satisfaction of our residents and for keeping costs as low as possible. Our current contract for trash, recycling and yard waste disposal is with Waste Management, Inc. It runs until March of 2015. The full text of the contract is available here.
