The Campton Township Solid Waste Disposal District (CTSWDD) mission is to maximize recycling and minimize the burden of buried waste in landfills by providing Campton Township citizens with effective and efficient solid waste and recycling services through a responsive, reliable and cost efficient commercial waste hauler. The Solid Waste Disposal District serves all of Campton Township. This includes all of unincorporated Elburn (but not The City of Elburn itself) as well as parts of unincorporated St. Charles, LaFox, Maple Park. Like all of Campton's committees and commissions, the District's Trustees volunteer their time and energy to make Campton a better place to live for all its residents. Their efforts and dedication help ensure that our Township offers a safe, clean, and healthful environment for all. Members of the Solid Waste Committee are appointed by the Town Board.
